Well, all the dentists here are very competent. I always enjoy being with Dr. Plourde because he makes me feel very comfortable. We always have a nice conversation before we get started. He explains everything that's going to be done, and during our procedure, he'll always stop after a few minutes and ask, "Is everything okay? Do you feel okay?" And he's just a very go-to guy for me for most of my dental work.

I always enjoy being here with the staff because everybody – not only are they friendly, they are extremely competent, especially Carol, who does all my dental hygienist work. We always have a nice friendly conversation, always makes me feel comfortable. When I leave here, when she finishes her work, I feel like I don't even want to eat for a day because my mouth feels so clean. She also is very good at spotting things that might be upcoming, and she'll always refer to the doctor what she sees, and they just always keep me smiling.

I think the quality of service Dr. Argeros and his team here have given me has been impeccable. They're always on top of their game, and I never feel that anything is missing. If I do have any questions, they are always quick on giving me the right answers. They are always good with appointments. It's as if they are thinking ahead and always give me great service.

“I love coming to this practice”

I love coming to this practice. I've been coming here for probably 39 years, and I feel the hygienists are great, the dentists are all wonderful. I wouldn't go anyplace else. Well, I know years ago – and again, we're talking 39 years prior – my dentist at that time said he would clean his teeth, and they would scale the teeth or whatever. And I don't think that was ever done. So when I started coming to this practice, they were so thorough with what they did as far as my teeth, which was a wonderful thing. And if I have any questions about anything, they take care of it, which is great.

What keeps me coming back is I love my hygienist. The hygienists are great. Because those are the ones that I see every four months. And I feel they're thorough, and if they have any questions at something, they bring one of the dentists in to check my teeth.

“They’re really personal”

Well, I've gotten to known the people over the last 20 years. I lived in Groton, Massachusetts, which was 40 miles away from Peabody. I retired from the Air Force and got a job teaching at the high school, so I could go to any dental practice I wanted to, and this one really turned out to be a good fit.

Well, I was in the Air Force for 22 years, so all my dentists were Air Force officers, and I didn't always get to pick who I wanted, but I was in the medical field, so I kind of got to know them as well. And the professional care I get here, it's just as good as what I got in the military.

Well, I recall, Cindy's one of the staff members. There's usually three at the front desk when you come in and check in, and so they also call you on the phone. They've started a new system where they remind you by phone, which is really great – make sure your appointment's going to be there and you're going to remember to go to it. But I've gotten to know them over the years. I used to ... I brought in one of my baseballs from the '67 World Series, St. Louis Cardinals, and one of the ladies – her husband's a big baseball fan – she wanted to take it home with her. So you get really personal with the people. And Carol, she's my hygienist; I've known her for 20 years. We talked about our kids, what school they go to and stuff, what they're doing now. So it's a really kind of personal environment.

This high level of service is just one of the many ways that we are supporting our community, and it is included in the excellent work that we do…we go through a comprehensive disinfection after every patient is cared for.
