How We Can Help
We do everything in our power to ensure the comfort of each and every one of our patients while they are in our care. This first starts by how you are treated when you walk in the door. You will be greeted with a smile every time! Our Peabody, MA dental office staff is highly trained and extremely skilled at helping you feel comfortable just by how we interact with you. We want to make sure you feel welcome and safe at our Peabody, MA dental office.
If you need even more help feeling comfortable during dental procedure, we can use something called intravenous sedation. This IV dental sedation can offer you safe, dental anxiety free treatment that you won’t even remember when you wake up! Talk to Dr. John Argeros or Dr. Donald Plourde to determine if IV dental sedation is right for you.
Intravenous dental sedation is a medication that is administered carefully through an IV line. It will allow you to sleep throughout the procedure for maximum comfort. Because it will make you drowsy, you will need a family member or friend to escort you to and from the office on the day of the procedure. Many of our patients use this form of dental sedation successfully with long or complicated procedures.
IV sedation is designed to allow for both comfortable and anxiety-free treatment. Once the procedure is complete, you should have very little, if any, recollection of the procedure. After the procedure, you will be allowed to recover in the same treatment room. You will also be monitored by our experienced anesthesia team to ensure your comfort and safety. Once recovered, you will be allowed to leave with your escort.
Dr. John Argeros holds a Mastership at International Congress of Oral Implantology, he is also a member of American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Academy of Osseointegration, his education and the organizations he is involved with made him a professional in dentistry and dental implants.
